We're almost a year into the "new normal" that COVID-19 has thrust upon us, however, a popular Lansdale brewery continues to carry the torch and bring a safe, socially distant performance experience to its customers and fans.
Well Crafted Beer Company burst onto the Lansdale scene a few years ago with crisp beers, an amazing staff and a passion for music. Although COVID-19 has knocked the area back as far as events and get togethers, Well Crafted has stepped in and is developing a wonderful monthly program for artists to safely connect, express and create.
This month, "The Well," a monthly open performance night, debuted at their space on Madison Street. Once per month, their goal is to transform the brewery into a music and artist showcase where expression can reign and people can connect. A take on the traditional open mic night, Well Crafted Beer Company is encouraging not only music, but comedy, dance, poetry, spoken word and everything that falls on the fringe.
Going into April, they are looking to feature a new singer/songwriter each month as a way to shine the spotlight on as many local artists as possible. For these events, they've developed a playlist consisting of local and regional independent music to be played in between performance sets. It is the perfect fit to round out the space that is already filled with Headway Art Collective artists works on the walls.
If you're looking to become involved at "The Well," have questions about performing or want to get your music on the playlist, reach out to lead organizer Ryan Weiss at ryan@ogeemedia.com. The next event will be held on April 6, 2021 from 7pm to 9pm. Be sure to RSVP to the event online and come ready to "craft your talent at The Well!"
