May is Mental Health Awareness Month and local Lansdale businesses are coming together to build mental health awareness in their community. 1 in 5 people identify living with a mental health challenge in a given year. The Dubnow family knows the impact of supporting a loved one who experiences mental illness. They combined their love for craft beer and wanting to share the life of Noah Dubnow to create an opportunity to raise mental health awareness in their community with Hops for Hope.
NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Montgomery County PA is excited to partner with Round Guys Brewing Company, Well Crafted Beer Company, Lansdale Tavern, Stove & Tap, IPkAyyyyyy and the Dubnow Family to host this incredible in-person event, Hops for Hope, to raise mental health awareness in loving memory of Noah Dubnow – Beloved Son, Brother and Father. This event is a family friendly, craft beer, sober curious, and sober event dedicated to making our community more aware of mental health conditions.
Hops for Hope will offer the opportunity for fun and connection while learning about the prevalence of mental illness, how to support someone impacted by mental illness, and how to keep hope when a situation feels hopeless. The event features guest speakers including: Pennsylvania House Representative, Steve Malagari; Lansdale Mayor, Gary Herbert; NAMI Montgomery County PA Executive Director, Abby Grasso; and Stacie Dubnow, Noah’s mom. Additionally, the event will offer mental health resources, raffle baskets, and more. The event kicks off at 12:30 PM at Round Guys Brewery with speakers and will travel to Well Crafted Beer Company at 1:30 PM and Lansdale Tavern at 3 PM.
A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit NAMI Montgomery County PA, the local affiliate of NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness.) Community members interested in supporting the event through a donation can make a donation at: https://namimontcopa.org/hops-for-hope/
